I have been terrible about posting lately! Yikes. So I am making the executive decision to begin my week of layouts on Wednesday. HA.
Today I want to share the final layout I made before putting away my Metropolitan kit (Studio Calico December 2010). Ah, how I loved that kit! It still has enough supplies to make a few cards, but that will be a project for the summer.
On to today's page. I have been wanting to make this page for quite some time, as these pictures are so funny to me! My Dad is a total riot. He never has met a stranger and anytime the camera is pointed his way, he always musters up something entertaining to do. I just love that he has never lost his youthful spirit!
Everything is from the kit (and add-ons) except for some of the bling along the bottom, the letter "J", and the flower on the top left.
(to answer a question I have recently been asked...) I usually work with two kits at a time. One for at home and one for crops. By doing this, I eliminate a lot of packing/unpacking hassles and spend more time actually scrapbooking, rather than moving supplies around. (not that I ever was guilty of this. ha.) Right now, I am using Studio Calico's February and March kits. March is spread out on my scrap table at home and February is packed away and ready to take to crops.
By the way, does this page make you thirsty? It definitely makes me long for summer!
Stay tuned for more pages from my week of layouts!
